An Introduction

Years ago, back when Netflix had a huge number of black and white movies, I went on a binge. I've long since forgotten which movie it was, but there was an older man as a secondary character, and he got into a discussion about puttering with the main character. The older man said:

"To be a putterer, one's mind must be at ease."

The line stuck in my mind. A quick search places the line in Frank Capra's Platinum Blonde, but I don't remember anything else about the movie.

When my mind is at ease, I'm a putterer. More specifically, I putter with paper. And wool. And fabric. And sometimes floss.

This is a place for my puttering.

Welcome.
